Deah Nix | owner, rootology

Deah grew up in a very small town on Galveston Bay, and moved here from League City, TX in 2021. Deah, her husband and two youngest daughters moved here to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city life. Together, Deah and her husband have five children and two grandchildren. She is a Jesus lover and follower. She has a huge passion for all things hair, loves being creative and her favorite part of her job is being able to invest into people’s lives through hair! Deah loves a good haircut of any kind, is a Master Colorist, Blonding Specialist, Certified Balayage Specialist, as well as being certified in Brazillian Blowouts. Her favorite coloring service is a lived-in look!

Alex zimmerman | salon managEr

Alex was born and raised in Las Vegas and moved to Fredericksburg in 2021. With a deep passion for the beauty industry, she loves creating genuine connections with clients. Having previously been a stylist herself, Alex brings valuable firsthand experience to help cultivate a personalized experience with each client and their stylist. She found her true passion on the business side of the salon industry and her background allows her to support both clients and the stylist team while helping create a welcoming, professional salon environment. When she’s not at the salon, you can find her a live music event or staying up to date on all the latest true crime documentaries.

Peyton Farnhof | microblading specialist | lip blush pmu specialist

Peyton has been a microblading specialist for five years. She is a mother of two little boys, and has a flower farm! She and her husband love to travel and be outdoors.

Becky Coronado | cutting specialist, colorist

Becky has been doing hair since 2013. She was born and raised in Fredericksburg and has made the move back home with her husband and beautiful twin babies Eva and Elias!

She enjoys doing low maintenance lived in color, fun vibrant fashion color, modern shag cuts and men’s/women’s short cuts as well.

Carlie guess | stylist, colorist

In 2020, after a decade in the business world, Carlie decided to pursue her passion for hair. This newfound passion brought her a sense of belonging and fulfillment that she had been searching for, and she has loved it ever since. Carlie is an avid lover of all things hair, music, true crime stories, and spending time in nature with her family. When she’s not behind the chair, you can find her kayaking on the river, hiking with her dogs, or attending concerts.

Amanda williamson | makeup artist

Based in Fredericksburg with over 8 years of experience, I specialize in creating bridal or special occasion makeup customized to your desires, or full or natural glam looks that enhance your natural beauty. I strive to make clients feel both confident and radiant for their special occasions and I can’t wait to work with you!

Mila kemp | brow and lash artist

After attending cosmetology school, Mila discovered her true passion - brow and lash enhancement services. She is dedicated to helping women feel confident and effortlessly beautiful by enhancing their natural features. Focusing on creating elevated, low-maintenance services that amplify each clients unique beauty is her goal for each client.
